Meet your advisors
Calvin
Calvin is a medical student at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and will be starting pediatrics residency at UCSF. He decided to start medical school advising after working as a college admissions advisor for 3 years. By enabling each high school student to highlight what made them unique, he helped them obtain acceptances and full-tuition scholarships at schools like Harvard, Columbia, and Northwestern.
He used this same approach in his own medical school applications—identifying and advertising his specific strengths granted him success. Calvin ended the cycle with 7 acceptances from 15 interviews, including Stanford, Columbia, Duke, Northwestern, UChicago, and WashU.
Now, we’d like to emulate this strategy with you. The first step is to determine how we can best market you and your application to medical schools. Then, we’re confident we can help you reach your fullest potential and continue your road to becoming a physician.
Jacob
Jacob is originally from San Francisco, and is a current medical student at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He has always loved mentoring students, which he began doing as early as high school, and is dedicated to supporting students every step of the way through the long and sometimes overwhleming process of applying to medical school. He is particularly focused on helping students showcase their unique qualities while also highlighting the ways in which they hope to impact medicine in the future.
He used this same approach in his own medical school applications, ending the cycle with 10 interviews, including Stanford, Harvard, Northwestern, Columbia, and Cornell. He ultimately ended up committing to Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
